About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hello,
An example: I come from Germany to Shanghai on 29 November and have a flight (ie within the 72h) on 31st November to Bangkok.
So, if I understand correctly, can I take the transit visa with the train 230km to Ningbo?
