Traveling in December

Is Guilin/Yangshuo a good time to visit in December for the scenery and hike?

It is fine to travel Guilin in December, but the sceneries are not so good as that in other times, like April to October. Besides, it will be a bit cold at that time, so please take some heavy clothes to keep warm.
