About:China Visa Application in USA

My wife will visit Shanghai (1 day 5am-6pm). Will she need a visa?

Brian, if she will fly to a third country or region instead of the last one she came from after staying in Shanghai, she can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai, and then she doesn’t need to apply for an entry permit.
