About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

6 months left on passport

Hi. If I am flying from AMS on an Australian passport with 5 months validity left on it and keen to stay in Shanghai for 5 days before flying to BOS, would I be eligible for the 144 day visa-free transit on arrival? And my thanks in advance!

...oops - that is the 144 hour free transit. My mistake! They key is just is the passport ok with just 5 months validity on it?

Fraser, don’t worry! Your passport is okay. You can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that.
