About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Ann Kerwin from AUSTRALIA NSW,I'm doing a cruise in april with a stopover in Shanghai.

Can i have a 72 hour transit visa . How and when can i get one ?
I am Australian and have passport

Ann, if will go to a third country or region instead of the last one you come from after stopping in Shanghai, you may be able to enjoy the 144 hour free transit, but if you enter and leave by the same cruise ship, the cruise may require you to provide a visa. You are advised to confirm that with the cruise company.
