About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

PUV to Royal Caribbean cruise to Japan

Arriving at PUV. Staying in hotel overnight then boarding ship for 5 night cruise to Japan. Returning to Shanghai then departing from PUV same day. Is it possible to use a 144 hour free transit, or what type of visa do I need?

Jan, it is possible for you to enjoy the free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that. In this case, no entry permit will be needed.
