About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Hi, I've got a single entry visa and am currently in Shanghai

I'm planning to visit friends in Hong Kong. My return flight to Europe is next week from Shanghai and was planning to spend the night before in Shanghai. Will this be a problem?

Well, John, if you will fly back from HK to Shanghai and then to Europe, you can use the 144h free transit policy in Shanghai.
