I'm planning to visit Hongkong in Dec. Flying in from Manila, Phil. and wants to go to Kowloon also.

Can you tell me which way is the best route to take. Get a hotel in HK or go straight to Kowloon? If we go straight to Kowloon, can you tell me what reasonable hotels to stay? How far from the HK Airport is it to Kowloon?

1. The distance between HKIA and Kowloon is about 21 miles.
2. About the accommodation: You are suggested to stay at Austin Inn. The price is 450 HKD to 600 HKD per night in usual time. And it's close to Kowloon Metro Station. It provides clean rooms. The exact location is Flat 2&4,1/F, Man Wah Building, 2-24 Man Wui Street,Jordan.
3. About the transportation: Take bus no.A22 at Airport (Ground Transportation Centre), and get off at Shanghai Street, Jordan Road. It takes around 40 mins. The ticket fare is 39 HKD per person. Then walk northwest around 300 yards to find it.
