Beijing weather

Planning to go to Beijing on the 3rd of January. Please can someone let me know whats the weather like? Can someone recommend a good value for money accommodation?Thanks

It is cold in January in Beijing. The average temperature is below 0°C, normally -4°C/25°F, so you are suggested to wear warm sweaters and down coats for winter. As for the accommodation, there are many hotels in Beijing, you can choose a hotel chain located in downtown area.
