About:Passport

filipina currently living in australia. my partner residence visa was granted last august 29 2016

my philippine passport is valid until 20 may 2017..we booked our flight with cathay pacific from 8-21 december 2016,were doing 10 days in hong kong and 4 days in macau and then were off to manila/philippines to renew my passport and a returned ticket back to australia on the 11 january 2017....
my question:is my (phl)passport still valid to enter hong kong and macau?How many months validity required for a philippine passport to enter hong kong and macau?Do i need a visit visa?

Ruth, there is no need to worry! Your passport can still allow you to enter HK and Macau.
Usually, your stay in HK or Macau shouldn’t exceed the validity of your passport, so it is ok. You don’t need to apply for visit entry permit because Philippines passport holders are allowed to enter HK and Macau freely for a stay of not more than 14 days and 30 days respectively.
