Traveling to and from Jiuzhaigou

Hi all, after some advice for best route to get to Jiuzhaigou.
I will be taking a sleeper train from Beijing in January - I can either take this to Guangyuan or direct to Chengdu?
There are buses available from both locations and it doesn't look like the times are so different. Im hoping to spend 2 days at the park then 1 in huanglong then will make my way to Chengdu. I will likely need an extra night or so for the early travel times but im torn which way to get there
Any suggestions?

In my opinion, it is more convenient to travel from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou as there are many buses available every day and the road condition is better. You can take high speed train from Beijing to Chengdu (14 hours), then take bus at Xinnanmen Bus Station or Chadianzi Bus Station to Jiuzhaigou (8-10 hours). If you like, you can also have a brief city trip in Chengdu. As for Guangyuan, there are only two buses available from Guangyuan to Jiuzhaigou (06:00 and 10:20) and the train journey from Beijing to Guangyuan takes almost 23 hours, which is quite long.
