Moving for work

I'm thinking of moving my family (husband Oct 11, 1971, son Jul 11, 2002, daughter Jun 20, 2005) across the country to find a better job. Is that a possibility in 2017 and if so when should we do it? Will we be successful? Are my parents (mom Nov 9, 1949, dad Dec 8, 1946) going to be ok or should they come with us?

E L, the key is to adjust yourself for the change and adapt to the new environment as soon as possible.
As for your parents, most seniors don't feel like leaving their hometown to a new place. It is advised you respect their opinions about the moving.
