You can take a direct bus to GL from Fenghuang General Bus Station on North Fenghuang Road. The bus departs at 11:00, and the trip takes about 6 hours. ;)1

It is not near the railway station. It is located on North Fenghuang Road, about 1 mile from the old town. :)1

If I will sleep in Fenghang old town, how can I move to North Fenghuang Road in the bus station?
Is this the same bus station in which buses from Zhangjiajie arrives?

You can take a taxi to the bus station for about CNY 10.
