About:Visa Policy of China

uk passport holder on a cruise, multiple ports - what visa do I need?

The ship docks in Taiwan, then Shanghai then S Korea. It then returns to Shanghai and then to Hong Kong. What entry permit will I require please?

Garland, you should apply for a double-entry permit for mainland. You don't need the entry permit for Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Read exemptions on travel guide China. They state no entry permit required and if leaving the ship for sightseeing etc a permission will be supplied at the port. I assume you are on Q/Mary in March 2017 we are also and I am seeking more information
