I'm planning to spend 2 days in Shangri-la.

I planed to take the earliest bus from Lijiang to arrive at midday time. Do you think I can visit the Songzanlin Si during the afternoon, the same day? I know I can take the Bus n.3.

Yes, you can visit the temple in the same afternoon. Two hours will be enough.

Take bus line 3 to reach the temple. Or take a taxi to reach there for about CNY 10. :)
