About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

My husband have Z visa and he is in china for 2 yrs contract base job.

Is it possible that he can invite me (his wife) to china? if yes than what documents required, and do this step needed any bank statements?

Yes, he can invite you to go there. You can apply for an S1 entry permit for China at the embassy. The required documents include: your passport and its copy, a fully filled-out application form attached with your recent bare-headed photo, an invitation letter from duly authorized unit, a copy of your husband's residence permit and passport, an invitation letter from him, your marriage certificate, and a health report. The bank statement is not required.

I have 1 more question, my husband talked to his boss regarding bringing his wife(me) to china he said, Not now you can bring your wife after a year, my question is, is his boss allowed to give him permission or to reject, to call his wife there, i mean is it legal, or is there any other way, that he can bring his wife there.
