About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

US Passport with single entry visa to China

Hi I am travelling from US to Guangzhou with family with the roundtrip tickets from USA to Guangzhou. Can I in China, leave for Macau to HK to Bangkok comeback to GuangZhou, apply for 72 hr free transit and leave from Guangzhou to USA with family the next day?

Ivan, you mean you will travel like US-Guangzhou-Macau-HK-Bangkok-Guangzhou-US? If yes and you travel by flight all the way, you will be able to make use of the 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou for both transits.
