Hello Dan. Your plan is good, but the official booking service is only in Chinese version. If you insist in booking in advance, try to dial 023-96096 for a try. In addition, generally the tickets won't be sold out before at that time. So it is also fine to get a ticket upon arrival: one leaves CQ Bus Station at 08:00, and the other leaves from the Bus Terminal in the South Square of North Railway Station at 08:40.
