where to stay in xiamen in october 2016

Question

Hello, we are planning to stay there for two days in the mid October. Originally, we wanted to find accommodation on the Gulangyu Island, but since it has been affected by typhoon, we re not sure it's a good idea. We also have heavy backpacks and the transportation is out of order now, as I understood. Could you suggest us a nice area ( with sea view or colonial houses) for accommodation? I read about sea tourist line, where is that? Thank you in advance

You can book a room by dialing 86-0592-2522666. You can take XM- Wuyu Sea Ranch Line from Heping Wharf at No. 3, Lujiang Road. The ferry passes by Gulangyu, XM University, Zengcuoan, and other interesting places. It departs at 9:30, and returns at 16:00. The fare is CNY 169. :)
