About:Yungang Grottoes

How can I reach Yungang Grottoes from Hanging Monastery

Planning to visit Hanging Monastery and the Grottoes for a day via public transportation, How could I do it. Are there also option of hiring a cab/car outside the railway station? how much would it cost. Thank you!

Well, you may take Express Tourist Bus line 603 from the grottoes to Weidu Avenue, Qingyuan Street Intersection. Next, change to bus line 18 to Stadium Station. Then, take a bus to Yunyuan from the nearby Datong Bus Station. Upon arrival, take a taxi to the temple.

Yes, you can hire a car to cover the two places. The fare may be around CNY 350 for a round trip. :)
