Z Visa for English Speaking Caribbean for ESL/EFL/ESOL Teachers who are Certified

I am from Grenada in the Caribbean and recently became a certified ESOL Teacher. I will like to know what are are the restrictions for native speakers of English from the Caribbean to obtain a Z type to teach English in China.

I was interviewed by and applied to several schools in China, and was told by the schools that they cannot proceed with my application due to visa restrictions. Can someone who is knowledgeable about visa restrictions for native English speakers from the Caribbean, shed some light on this issue please. Thank you very much.

Kimmy, as for this question, you are advised to contact with the embassy of PRC in Grenada and then inquire about the relevant information because what I know is that you can apply for the work Z type like other native English speakers and I haven’t found the restrictions. Maybe the case is different according to your personal situation. Tel: 1-473-439-7716
