About:Simatai Great Wall

Length of journey from Dongzhimen to Simatai

If you want to use the public transportation, how long does it take approximately (on a weekday, morning) to reach SMT Wall from Dongzhimen station?

I want to know what time should I departure if I want to reach the shuttle bus at 10 AM.
Could anyone help me?

It should take you around 4 hours to reach the Miyun Bus Station by bus 980Express and you may need another around 2h to reach the Gubei Water Town. If you don't want to miss the shuttle bus at 10AM. You may need to take the earliest bus 980Express which departs from Dongzhimen at 4:30AM, or charter a car to reach the town.

M, to save time, you can consider chartering a car to arrive there in around 2h.
