australian citizen fly beijing then o/night transfer to cruise ship tianjin next day do i need visa

Marlene, if the cruise ship will go to a third country or region rather than the last one you come from, and your stay in PRC is less than 24 hours in total, you will be eligible for the 24 hour direct transit. In this case, no entry permit will be needed.
