About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Germany --> Deli --> Shanghai (within 72 hours) --- Need China Visa or not??

If I go to Shanghai from Germany and will have a stop at Deli within 72 hours, should I need to apply the Chinese entry permit??

MS. Tam, as long as you don't return to India after you exit from Shanghai, and you have a passport of one of the 51 countries, you can enjoy the 144-hour free transit policy in Shanghai.

Thanks for your reply. That means if I go back to Germany after exit from Shanghai, I can also enjoy the 144-hour free transit policy in Shanghai. Am I correct??
