About:China Business Visa

register yourself to police is necessary ?

Hi
i'm coming guangzhou for 90 days on visa M ,
is this necessary to register myself to police station or its just a optional thing !

if i didn't so will i face any punishment or fine ?
please advise ?

Rizi, it's necessary to register yourself with the police station. You may not face punishement or fine if you don't register. But you may meet with difficulties if you want to change your visa, extend your stay duration, etc. So you had better do it.
