About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

i arrive shanghai at 12:40 on the 4 of oct and leaving to go on cruise at 10pm on the 5 of oct

i arrive shanghai at 12:40 on the 4 of oct and leaving to go on cruise at 10pm on the 5 of oct. Going to china and onward to Korea. Do i need china visa.

Lindsey, if the country you come from is different from Korea, you may be able to enjoy the 144 hour free transit and then no entry permit will be needed. However, if you arrive and leave by the same ship, you are advised to confirm that with the cruise ship if you need the entry permit.
