Travelling from Beijing airport to railway station then bullet train to Xian

We are arriving on 10/13/2016 at 12:20 pm into Beijing airport. We would like to take a bullet ridde to Xian. How do you recommend getting to the railway station and how long would you allow from arrival at the airport until the next ride?

The easiest way should be taxi or airport shuttle bus. The subway also available, but need to change for different lines during the way. It would be better if you have around 90min for transfer. It maybe better to have about 4 hours between the two trips if you take the waiting time, immigration, ticket collect and boarding process for the rail trip into consideration.
