I'm afraid it is not the case. After the initial fire will subside, the two of you won't be compatible, for the simple reason that you have both Earth element of your year of your birth. Your origins doesn't really matter in this case. Different cultures matters to people who are astrologically compatible, and they still find it hard to reconcile with two different cultures.
