I would like to confirm the requirements for a visa application for a Zimbabwean passport holder living in SA. I would also like to travel via Hong Kong do I need another visa for Hong Kong?

If you go to PRC for tourism purpose, a tourist L visa is needed. You need to prepare these documents containing your passport and copy of its data page, the application form, a passport-sized color photo, hotel reservation, round trip flight tickets and your residence permit in South Africa. You also need to apply for a HK transit entry permit if you have a stopover in HK.
