About:Packing Tips for Traveling China

I want to take a bottle of Indian 'ghee' (clarified butter ) in my luggage.

In some parts it is understood as an animal product but it is more like refined oil. Will it be allowed ?

You'd better not take it. Milk products are not allowed to pass the customs.
