We will stay in Grand Mercure in Shanghai from Oct. 4 - 7 2016 and will leave Baoshan Cruise terminal on Oct. 7, 2106. Do we need to get a visa?

Danny, if you will take the cruise to a third country or region instead of HK after staying in Shanghai for 3 days, you can enjoy the free transit in Shanghai. You don’t need to apply for any entry permit then.
