About:China Visa

Ultra short visit to Beijing

I'm an Australian citizen and plan to travel from Melbourne to Beijing via Hong Kong on 14 Oct and return on 15 Oct via Hong Kong. The purpose is to pick up spare parts from a factory.

Do I need a visa for this short visit.

Dear, if so, you need to apply for a tourist L type entry permit or other type for that because you cannot enjoy the free transit in Beijing.
If you can fly back to Australia directly after staying in Beijing for a short time, you will be able to enjoy the 24 hour direct transit and then you don’t need to provide any entry permit.
