About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hello!Can u pl tell me if I need a visa or do I get one at the Airport for China.

I am traveling from Delhi to Shanghai back to Delhi for 5 Days.Thanks in advance:Amarpal

Amarpal, if you travel like that, you cannot enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. You need to apply for a tourist L type beforehand.
If you travel to HK after staying in Shanghai for less than 144 hours, and then travel back to Delhi from HK, you can enjoy the free transit in Shanghai. In this case, no entry permit will be needed.
