About:

Shanghai 3 oct to 5 oct in the golden week

Will it be very crowded and lots of traffic jams, our plane leaves at 1.30 pm, when should we leave the hotel ? 4 hours before ? or more ?

Yes, it may be very crowded. You are advised to leave the hotel four hours before departure time of the plane.
