Is it doable to meet the 9:12 am high-speed schedule at Emeishan Station?

Hi fellow travel advisors.
Originally I intend to see the Sunrise and Sunset at the Summit. But looking at the sunrise time at approx 7 am I am not hopeful. I am settling for sunset at approx 7 pm.

I plan to go up the mountain on 30/10 and make it for the Sunset. Stay a night and return to Emeishan station for the 9:12 am train to the Shuangliu Airport. by 10:34 am (flight 13:30).

Should I stay at Leidongping? How long is the trip from Leidongping to the summit and return trip.

Yes! You can stay at Leidongping, and set out for the railway station in the early morning. The first bus to Baoguo Temple departs from Leidongping at 6:00, and the trip takes about 2 hours. Then, take bus line 5A to the railway station (about 10 minutes).

From Leidongping to the Golden Summit: walk for about 30 minutes to Jieyin Hall. Then, hike for about 2 hours to the summit, or take the cableway up (about 15 minutes). The cableway operates until 18:00 by the way. :)
