Is there any 2 ways public bus transport from Kunming to Shilin in october 2016 and how much?

A local travel agent told me that there is no public bus to shilin and want to charge me CNY 600 for private transport to Shilin. Can anyone recommend a good local agency so that i can pre-book my trip at Yunnan? Thank you.
