Yes, you can take a direct bus to ZJJ from Yueyang Dongting Bus Station at No. 171, Dongting Avenue. The bus departs at 8:30, and the fare is CNY 130. The trip takes about 7 hours.

Or, you can take a direct train to ZJJ from Yueyang Railway Station. The train departs at 04:19, and the trip takes about 7 hours. A hard seat costs CNY 75; a hard sleeper costs CNY 133; a soft sleeper costs CNY 205.

You needn't make a transfer at Changsha by the way. ;)
