About:China Visa

We are flying with Emirates from Manchester to Shanghai and want to use the 144hr visa exemption.

Will there be any issues when we try to board our Emirates flight?

Gill, if you hold UK passport, and plan to go to a third country or region rather than UK after staying in Shanghai for 144 hours, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. In this case, there won’t be any issue when you board the flight.
