About:China Visa Exemption

24-hour transit period

I am an U.S. Citizen who lives and works in Japan. My itinerary for a business trip to Europe has me fly into Dailian Airport at 16:05 on 10/11 and fly out of Beijing 02:05 on 10/12. Would this qualify as 24 hour exemption period or do I need to apply for a transfer visa?

Yes, as the time is shorter than 24 hours, you qualify for the 24-hour direct transit policy.
