huashan mountain ticket validity

Question

HI, I'll be visiting the mountain in mid November. I will arrive at 3pm or so and leave the next day at 6pm. if my hotel is outside of the scenic area could I enter it the first day and then again the next day on the same ticket? also is Yuquan st. where my hotel is outside of the scenic area? and is there any way to book a bed on top of the mountain online?

You can enter the scenic spot once with one ticket. If you enter it next day, another ticket will be required. Yuquan St. is outside the scenic spot. I don't know any English websites to book hotels on the moutain top. But mid November is not the peak season, you may book one upon arriving.

As a follow up question, when I take the cable car up the mountain, do I need to buy two tickets to the scenic spot in the same day? A guy I met said he had to buy one at the base of the mountain, took the cable car and then had to buy a scenic spot ticket again at the top of the mountain. All in all costing him ~500RMB for the day

Well, the ticket of the mountain is CNY 180 from March to November; CNY 100 from December to February. You just need to pay once. Good luck!
