About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am traveling from Ghana to The Philippines,

please do I need transit visa from the Chinese Embassy in Ghana before traveling?

You will have a stopover in PRC? If yes and your layover time is within 24 hours, no entry permit will be needed because you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit.
Otherwise, you need to apply for a transit G type at the Chinese embassy in Ghana.
