About:Xian Travel

Option to travel from Xian -> Qianling -> Maoling Mausoleum -> Famen Temple -> XA

Hello,I will be visiting Qianling from XA via bus. But, from Qianling to Maoling and to Famen Temple and back to XA, what would be the best/ convenient / cheap mode of transportation to be use? Million thanks!!

Well, Maoling is in Xianyang, much nearer to XA than Qianling. Thus, you may alter your itinerary this way: XA- Maoling- Qianling- Famen Temple- XA.

To Maoling, you can take metro line 1 to Houweizhai. Next, take bus line 13 to Zhankanglu Shizi Station. Then, transfer to bus line 12 to Zhaobaicun Station. Upon arrival, walk south to Maoling.

There is no direct transport between the two mausoleums. You are advised to charter a car. The fare may be around CNY 200-300.

After visiting Qianling, you can take a direct bus to Famen Temple. Then, you can take a bus back to XA from Famen Temple.

By the way, it will be more convenient for you to join a one-day tour to visit the three places. :)
