I have a ticket for the train T197 from Zhengzhou to Xian, if I could begin the journey from Luoyang

I bought a ticket on the train T197 from Zhengzhou to Xian but I want to see the Longmen grotto, or I have to go back to Zhengzhou, can I go to train in LY?

Yes, you can take the train T197 from LY. Remember that the train departs from LY at 22:50. Don't miss that! Have a nice trip! ;)
