About:Shanghai Travel

Are there long-distance buses going from Shanghai to Changsha? Schedule and fare?

As for trains, I have not found any direct train route, should in case it is possible to take train from SH to Changsha, kindly ask for more information about the trains as well..

Yes, you can take a bus to Changsha from General Bus Station. The bus departs at 17:00, and the fare is CNY 289. The trip takes 13 to 14 hours.

Or, you can take a bullet train to Changsha from Hongqiao Railway Station (about 5.5 hours). A second class seat costs CNY 478; a first class seat costs CNY 798.5.
