About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Saigon - Shanghai (3 days) - Hong Kong/Saigon (one flight with stop in HK)

If I book my return flight as one ticket but it stops in Hong Kong on the way back to Saigon does it qualify? The ticket will say to Saigon, but there is a change in Hong Kong. Or do i need to book the ticket separately so Shanghai - Hong Kong and then Hong Kong - Saigon?

If you can prove that your flight will stop in HK on the way back to Saigon, you don’t need to book another separate ticket from Shanghai to HK. Otherwise, separate tickets may be required.
