I am holding a French passport and is the china government invitation letter required?

I am holding a French passport and is the china government invitation letter required for the china business single entry visa? I have my company invitation letter hence is this sufficient to pass off as invitation letter?

Samantha, the invitation letter from the government is not needed.
Your company invitation letter is sufficient.
