four points sheraton beijing to summer palace

Question

Hi, what's the quickest most convenient way to get from Four points sheraton (Yuanda Road / Haidian District / ) to the garden? I read traffic could be a nightmare so maybe subway is the best? it says the subway line is walking distance from our hotel, is it easy to navigate? (can only speak English), or should we take a cab?Also, does anyone know what the hours are for subway and the garden? didn't want to get left behind, thanks in advance for your feedback!

The closest metro station - Changchunqiao is around 0.6mi from the hotel. You may walk there to take line 10 to Haidianhuangzhuang and transfer to line 4 to Beigongmen, which is next to the north gate of the garden. Sinages and broadcasting for metro are both in Chinese and English. The distance between the hotel and garden is within 4km. You can also take a taxi instead, which costs CNY25 or so. Just make your own choice!The subway usually runs from 05:00 to 23:30, so you can freely arrange your time. The garden is open around 06:30 and the close time is 20:00 these days, with the last entry at 18:00.
