About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Expat visiting from Russia

Hello,

I am a UK citizen currently working in Russia. Would I be able to fly into Shanghai, visit Disneyland and spend a few days in the city, and then fly back to Russia using the 144hr free transit? Thank you.

Expat, if you will fly back to Russia after visiting Shanghai, you cannot enjoy the 144 hour free transit because it is not a transit. A tourist L type is needed.
You can travel like this Russia-Shanghai (6 days)-HK/Macau-Russia, in this way, you will be eligible for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.
