About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit in Peking for 13-20 hours stopover - do I need a visa to make a city tour during layover?

I am flying Vienna (VIE) - Yangon (RGN) - Vienna(VIE), and will have some long layovers in Peking on both lags with 13 hours and 20 hours each on onward and return trips. If I want to go outside the airport and wish to make a city tour in Peking during those long layover, do I need to apply an entry permit? I am a Myanmar citizen, and I do not see it was listed for the free transit countries.

Hi there! You don’t need to apply for any entry permit because you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit for both legs of your trip.
The above listed countries refer to those whose nationals can enjoy the 72 hour free transit.
