About:China Transit Visa

Can i use a transit visa on a delhi-guangzhou-delhi sector for a stay of 5 days in guangzhou.

I had a tkt delhi-auckland-guangzhou-delhi with a 3 days halt in guangzhou. Unfortunately
I missed my china southern airlines on 31st aug due to heavy rains and flooding. Now my plans to go to new zealand been postponed to next year. My g type (transit G type valid for 7 days stay) is valid and i want to use it. Can i use it on a new tkt delhi-guangzhou-delhi for a 5 days stay in guangzhou

If you travel like Delhi-Guangzhou-Delhi, I’m afraid you cannot use the transit G type because it’s not a transit. You may need to apply for a tourist L type in advance.
Or you can fly to HK first after stopping in Guangzhou and then fly back to Delhi from HK. In this case, you can sue your transit G type.
